08:05 UTC — Iran Launches Missile and Drone Barrage Toward Gulf States

Authorities in the United Arab Emirates said Iran launched 16 ballistic missiles and more than 117 drones in a new wave of attacks targeting locations in the Gulf. Emirati officials reported that all missiles were intercepted and most drones were destroyed by air defenses, though four drones landed within UAE territory.

The UAE Defense Ministry did not specify the intended targets. Officials said the country remains prepared to “firmly confront” further threats amid the ongoing regional escalation.

07:32 UTC — Israel Continues Strikes on Iranian Oil Infrastructure

Iranian authorities reported that overnight Israeli strikes hit oil storage facilities and a petroleum transfer terminal near Tehran, killing at least four people. Witnesses described heavy smoke covering parts of the capital following fires at the depots.

The Israeli military previously said oil facilities were being targeted because they were allegedly used to support Iran’s military operations. The claims could not be independently verified.

06:58 UTC — Civilian Infrastructure Damage Reported Across Iran

Iran’s Red Crescent said roughly 10,000 civilian structures, including homes, schools, and medical facilities, have been damaged since the start of the strikes. Residents in Tehran were warned about potential air pollution and possible acid rain following fires at oil depots.

Authorities said emergency services remain deployed across multiple provinces as rescue operations continue.

06:10 UTC — Bahrain Accuses Iran of Striking Desalination Plant

Officials in Bahrain said an Iranian attack struck a desalination plant, raising concerns about the targeting of civilian infrastructure. The Gulf state hosts the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet and has been among the countries affected by Iranian missile and drone launches during the conflict.

Iranian officials said a U.S. strike previously damaged a desalination facility on Qeshm Island, arguing the earlier attack set a precedent for strikes on water infrastructure.

05:35 UTC — Fighting Intensifies in Lebanon

Israeli forces continued airstrikes in southern Lebanon and areas near Beirut, according to Lebanese health authorities, who reported additional casualties overnight. The death toll in Lebanon has now surpassed 300 people, officials said.

The Israeli military said the strikes are aimed at Iran-aligned forces operating in the country.

04:50 UTC — Regional Displacement and Casualties Rising

Humanitarian officials say the expanding conflict has displaced more than half a million people in Lebanon, while casualties have continued to rise across multiple countries in the region.

Civilian deaths have been reported in Iran, Israel, and Lebanon as missile and airstrike exchanges continue.

What We Know

  • Iran has launched missile and drone attacks toward Gulf countries including the UAE.

  • Israel has carried out strikes on oil facilities and military-linked infrastructure inside Iran.

  • Civilian infrastructure, including desalination plants, has been damaged during the conflict.

  • Fighting involving Iran-aligned groups has intensified in Lebanon.

  • Large-scale displacement and casualties are being reported across the region.

Background

The current escalation began after a major Israeli strike that killed Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, triggering retaliatory missile and drone attacks from Iran and its regional allies.

Iran has since named Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Supreme Leader during the ongoing conflict.
