Kormind compared the ring’s grandeur to the famed Taylor-Burton Diamond, a 69.42-carat pear-shaped stone gifted to Elizabeth Taylor by Richard Burton. That legendary gem, purchased from Cartier in the 1960s for over $1 million, remains one of the most famous diamonds in history. Based on rarity, size, and setting, Kormind values Rodriguez’s ring at close to $5 million.

Laura Taylor, engagement ring specialist at Lorel Diamonds, offered a more conservative estimate. She described the ring as “extraordinary,” suggesting the center stone could range between 15 and 20 carats. She also noted that side stones can make the center diamond appear larger, and platinum settings provide both security and a neutral backdrop that enhances the diamond’s color. If the center stone is a natural diamond in the D–F color range with flawless or near-flawless clarity, Taylor estimated its value could exceed $2 million.
