Heading into the fourth quarter with a 2-point lead, the Rockets turned up the heat when it mattered most. Houston clamped down defensively, holding the Warriors to just 33% shooting in the final period. The Rockets expanded their lead from two to 17 points, eventually emptying the bench with a commanding advantage.

Now, all eyes are on Sunday’s Game 7, where the Rockets will look to complete the comeback.

Fred VanVleet’s Hot Streak:

After a scorching 8-for-13 from beyond the arc in Game 5, VanVleet was on fire again tonight, knocking down 6 of 9 from deep for 27 points with six minutes to go. His shooting fueled Houston’s biggest lead of the night, a 12-point advantage late in the game.
