Mangione was arrested at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania, after a tip-off from a customer. Police found him in possession of a ghost gun—an untraceable firearm built with 3D-printed parts—along with a silencer and a loaded magazine.
Among his belongings were multiple IDs, including a fraudulent New Jersey identification card and his real U.S. passport. Notably, investigators discovered a three-page handwritten document in which Mangione expressed disdain for corporate America, referring to its leaders as “parasites” and stating, “I do apologize for any strife and trauma, but it had to be done.”
