Mike Tyson Slaps Jake Paul in Intense Final Face-Off Ahead of Their Dallas Showdown

Boxing legend Mike Tyson and social media sensation Jake Paul delivered a dramatic final face-off ahead of their highly anticipated bout in Dallas. Tyson demonstrated his signature speed, slapping Paul during the ceremonial weigh-in, setting the tone for an explosive fight.

Heated Exchange at the Weigh-Ins

At the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas, the atmosphere was electric as Tyson and Paul took the stage for the last time before their fight. Jake Paul, known for his dramatic antics during face-offs, attempted his usual routine of ducking and raising his fists. However, Tyson was not having it. Displaying his legendary reflexes, “Iron Mike” landed a sharp slap on Paul’s face, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Security officials quickly intervened to separate the two fighters as tensions escalated. Paul, undeterred, continued to taunt the crowd, flexing confidently as the audience chanted insults at him. Meanwhile, Tyson’s fiery display earned cheers from fans thrilled to see glimpses of his old aggression.

Jake Paul Fires Back

In a post-incident interview, Jake Paul dismissed the slap as insignificant. Speaking to Ariel Helwani, Paul declared, “I didn’t even feel it. Mike Tyson is angry, but that was a cute slap. Tomorrow, I’m knocking him out. It’s personal now—he must die!”

Tyson, on the other hand, kept his comments brief, emphasizing that the “time for talking is over.”

Jake Paul’s Weight Gain Raises Eyebrows

For this fight, Jake Paul has undergone a dramatic transformation, weighing in at a career-high of 227 pounds—over 40 pounds heavier than his bout against Tommy Fury in February 2023. Paul, who previously fought at the cruiserweight limit of 199 pounds, has bulked up to take on Tyson, who tipped the scales at 228 pounds.

This marks Mike Tyson’s return to the ring since his exhibition draw against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020. It will also be his first professional bout since 2005, when he faced Kevin McBride.

The Stage Is Set

With Tyson’s legendary reputation and Paul’s brash personality, their fight promises to be a spectacle. Fans eagerly await to see if Tyson’s iconic power will prevail or if Paul’s youth and confidence will lead to an upset in Dallas.
