Sweden School Shooting: Five Injured, Including Suspected Gunman

At least five people have been shot inside a school in Örebro, central Sweden, with the suspected perpetrator among the injured, police confirmed on Tuesday.

Authorities are actively responding to what they describe as a “suspected serious crime of violence” at the Risbergska School for Adults. The campus, which also houses other schools, including those for children, remains under lockdown.

The shooting took place around 12:30 p.m. local time (6:30 a.m. ET), according to Roberto Eid Forest, head of the Örebro police district.
