Based on the beloved novels by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson, The Wheel of Time made an ambitious leap to television under the guidance of showrunner Rafe Judkins. The adaptation starred Rosamund Pike as the powerful Aes Sedai Moiraine Damodred and Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor, the Dragon Reborn. Talks between Amazon and Sony to explore a path forward reportedly continued long after Season 3 wrapped, but no viable solution emerged.
