Week 11 of the NFL season opens with a major NFC East showdown that could shape the playoff race. The 7-2 Philadelphia Eagles are set to host the 7-3 Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football, with both teams entering the game on contrasting paths following Week 10.

The Eagles, riding a five-game winning streak, recently dominated the Cowboys in Dallas. A win on Thursday would keep them close to the 8-1 Detroit Lions, who currently lead the NFC. Meanwhile, the Commanders, who have won three of their last four games, missed a chance to secure a victory over the Steelers in Week 10, losing a late lead. A win against Philadelphia would propel them into the NFC East lead, with the rematch scheduled for Week 16.

Key players to watch include Jayden Daniels, the current favorite for Offensive Rookie of the Year, and Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who ranks fifth in passer rating and is second in the league for rushing touchdowns.
