Paul McCartney Announces 2025 ‘Got Back’ North American Tour
Music legend returns to U.S. stages for the first time in four years with 19-date run
Paul McCartney is hitting the road again.
The Beatles icon has officially announced the 2025 North American leg of his Got Back Tour, marking his first full stateside tour since 2022—and his first U.S. performances in four years. The 19-date trek kicks off on September 29 in Palm Desert, California, and wraps up with a two-night finale at Chicago’s United Center on November 24 and 25.
The tour features first-ever stops in Palm Desert and Albuquerque, New Mexico, signaling McCartney’s ongoing mission to bring his legendary catalog to new corners of the country.
Highlights of the Got Back 2025 Tour
The tour is a continuation of McCartney’s Got Back series, which originally launched in 2022. This latest run brings the 81-year-old rock legend back to major U.S. and Canadian cities with stadium and arena shows across the fall.
The full tour includes stops in:
- Las Vegas (Oct. 4)
- Denver (Oct. 11)
- Minneapolis (Oct. 17)
- Atlanta (Nov. 2–3)
- Montreal (Nov. 17–18)
- And more.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on July 18 at 10 a.m. local time, with presale details available on McCartney’s official tour website.
Backed by Longtime Band and Horn Section
McCartney will be joined by his trusted touring band, a lineup that has remained largely unchanged over the past two decades. That includes:
- Paul “Wix” Wickens (keyboards)
- Brian Ray (bass/guitar)
- Rusty Anderson (guitar)
- Abe Laboriel Jr. (drums)
The tour will also feature the energetic Hot City Horns, with Mike Davis (trumpet), Kenji Fenton (saxophones), and Paul Burton (trombone).
Return to the Stage After Surprise NYC Residency
The Got Back 2025 tour follows McCartney’s surprise three-night mini-residency at New York’s Bowery Ballroom in February. Those intimate performances built anticipation ahead of his appearance during the live taping of the SNL 50th anniversary special, where he helped close the star-studded celebration.
