Former My Chemical Romance Drummer Bob Bryar Found Dead at 44
Bob Bryar, the former drummer of the rock band My Chemical Romance (MCR), was found dead at the age of 44 in his Tennessee home, according to reports from TMZ. Bryar, who played with the band from 2004 to 2010, was part of their rise to fame and helped create some of their most iconic songs.
Authorities have confirmed that there were no signs of foul play at the scene. His possessions, including musical equipment and weapons, were found undisturbed. However, Bryar’s body was discovered in a severely decomposed state. Animal Control also removed two dogs from the property after the discovery. The cause of death is still under investigation by the medical examiner.
Bryar first joined My Chemical Romance in 2004 when he met the band while they were touring with The Used. He officially replaced Matt Pelissier after the release of their album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.
