Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Expecting Their First Child Together
Megan Fox, 38, and her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, 34, are expecting their first child together. The actress announced the news on Instagram on Monday, Nov. 11, sharing a photo of herself cradling her baby bump while covered in black liquid and tagging Kelly in the post. In another photo, she holds up a positive pregnancy test to the camera. She captioned the announcement with lyrics from Kelly’s song “Last November,” which addresses a past pregnancy loss the couple experienced, writing, “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back 👼🏼❤️.”
This baby will be Fox’s fourth child and Kelly’s second. Fox is already mom to three sons—Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8—with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, while Kelly is dad to 15-year-old daughter Casie.
Fox and Kelly (whose real name is Colson Baker) first met on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass in March 2020. They went public with their relationship a few months later after Fox appeared in Kelly’s “Bloody Valentine“ music video. Their relationship became official just days after Fox’s ex-husband Green confirmed their split after nearly a decade of marriage.
In January 2022, the couple announced their engagement. Fox shared a video on Instagram of Kelly proposing under a banyan tree that holds special significance for them. In her caption, Fox reflected on their journey, writing, “In July of 2020, we sat under this banyan tree… intoxicated off the love and karma.” She added, “Somehow, a year and a half later, having walked through hell together… he asked me to marry him,” ending with the memorable line, “And then we drank each other’s blood.”
Fox has previously hinted at wanting a child with Kelly. When she and Kourtney Kardashian introduced their partners at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2021, she called Kelly and Travis Barker their “future baby daddies,” exciting fans about her future plans with Kelly.
In November 2023, Fox opened up about the miscarriage she and Kelly experienced, expressing her feelings in two poems in her book Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. In a Good Morning America interview, she shared how deeply the experience affected them, saying, “I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us… trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’”
Fox’s poems include reflections on the lost pregnancy. One reads, “I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh.” In another, she wrote about seeing an ultrasound of a baby girl at ten weeks, expressing a desire to know what she could have done differently. One line reads, “Tell me please / what is the ransom / for her soul?”
