Model and Husband Found Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide in Florida Luxury Condo

A tragic murder-suicide occurred in a luxury oceanfront high-rise in Hallandale Beach, Florida, leaving a 27-year-old model and her 34-year-old husband dead. Police reported that Sabrina Krasniqi allegedly shot her husband, Pajtim Krasniqi, five times before turning the gun on herself on the balcony of their 45th-floor condo in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to the scene after receiving a ShotSpotter alert, a gunfire detection system, which recorded five gunshots in quick succession followed by a sixth shot. Upon arrival, officers found both bodies outside the condo. Pajtim was reportedly lying face down, and Sabrina was on her back.

Heartbroken Family Speaks Out

The murder has left Pajtim’s family devastated. His sister, Albana Krasniqi Munrett, shared her grief in an emotional Facebook post, saying, “Pajtimi’s wife chose to take my brother’s life when she shot five bullets into his chest. The person he trusted the most betrayed him, his love, and his trust.” She added that the tragedy had “shattered” her family and expressed fear that their mother might never recover from the loss.

Disturbing Details from the Scene

Graphic details of the aftermath reveal pools of blood and apparent bullet holes in a glass door. Inside the condo, investigators found a teddy bear, a box of roses with a heart on it, and a TV left on, adding to the somber scene. Neighbors across the street reported hearing screams followed by gunshots. “We heard screaming, and it was scary,” said witness Max Braedlin.

A Model in the Spotlight

Sabrina, who also went by her maiden name Sabrina Dzaferovic, was a model who gained attention after appearing in a 2021 Inside Edition segment. In the piece, she conducted a social experiment in Times Square to highlight street harassment.

The couple, both Kosovar Albanian nationals, reportedly had connections to New York and Peja, Kosovo. Their deaths have drawn international attention, particularly in Albanian media.

Hallandale Beach police continue to investigate the incident. This tragic case has left a lasting impact on the local and international communities as questions remain about what led to this horrific event.
